The BioConnect Project

The BioConnect Project is anchored by a unique 1,639 square metre research and development Innovation Centre located at Knockaconny in Monaghan – the beating heart of Ireland’s agri-food industry.

BioConnect’s mission is to engage with local and regional food businesses and agricultural producers, together with entrepreneurs and investors, to drive the sector forward creating world class opportunities and businesses.

The BioConnect building contains space for up to 12 laboratories with secondary labs for ancillary equipment over two floors, write up areas, dry labs, hot desks, meeting rooms and a communal social and conference area on the ground floor.

With space for over 80 people the building is at the heart of a major drive designed to support food and agri companies develop new projects, whilst offering a creative environment for entrepreneurs, startup projects and inward investing businesses and organisations.
